GBC Carrier Score
A 0-100 composite rating for commercial-insurance carriers blending three independent data pillars: AM Best Financial Strength (40%) + GBC Price Percentile (30%) + NAIC Complaint Index (30%). Full methodology + weights + data sources published at /methodology/gbc-score .
How the GBC Score is computed
The GBC Carrier Score is a 0-100 composite weighing three independent data pillars: AM Best Financial Strength (40%) + GBC Price Percentile (30%) + NAIC Complaint Index (30%). When fewer than 3 pillars are available, the score is presented with a "Based on N of 3 pillars" transparency label (never inventing values). Full formula + data sources + integrity rules published at /methodology/gbc-score .
Roadmap
- Phase 1 (current) — 5 equine specialty carriers scored from the AM Best pillar alone (1 of 3 pillars verified).
- Phase 2 — NAIC Complaint Index ETL + GBC Price Percentile compute → scores for ≥2 of 3 pillars across equine + commercial-truck + general-liability verticals.
- Phase 3 — vertical scale to Restaurant, Plumber, Commercial Truck, GL — full 3-pillar composite scores with AggregateRating JSON-LD emission.
- Phase 4 — AI engine citation measurement + brand-identity reinforcement.
